Facilities Manager

  • Plan and direct operations, maintenance, repair and improvement programs of overseas properties.
  • Direct facilities program resources.
  • Prepare cost estimates and equipment needs.
  • Manage work schedules and priorities.
  • Coordinate U.S. Government property maintenance with the General Services Officer.

Financial Management Officer

  • Manage financial activities of the post.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans.
  • Control obligations and expenditures.
  • Prepare and audit payment vouchers.
  • Administer payroll plans.
  • Approve salary and allowance payments.
  • Monitor cashier operations.

General Services Officer

  • Manage physical resources including inventory/property, physical facilities and motorpool.
  • Manage logistical functions, maintenance and repair schedules (in the absence of a Facility Manager), space management, and travel and transportation.
  • Solicit, evaluate, negotiate and award contracts.
  • Develop budget and workforce requirements.

Human Resources Officer

  • Oversee Human Resource functions including recruitment, employee training and development, performance management, employee relations, salary and benefits administration, employee policies and procedures, career counseling and position classification.
  • Supervise and ensure effective performance of the Human Resources Office staff.
  • Provide expert advice to managers and supervisors on human resource issues.
  • Provide counseling and interpreting regulations for Foreign Service and Foreign Service National employees.
