STEP 3: DO I MEET THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTS?

To be considered as a candidate the Information Management Specialist position, you must meet the minimum education and experience qualification requirements listed below.

Education Specialized Experience
BA/BS Degree (with a related minor) 0 years
OR
AA Degree or Equivalent (related degree) 1 years
OR
Technical Certificate(s) 2 years
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent 3 years

NOTE: Degrees or Certificates must be job-related. Experience must have been gained within the past 6 years.

Approved BA/BS/AA degrees or courses of study include the fields of Computer Science, Information Management, Telecommunications Management, Computer Information Systems, or other related fields.

Technical Certificates must be in Telecommunications Management, Information Management, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related fields. Other related fields would include product certification in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, Certified Computing Professional, A+, or similar certifications.
