There are three specialist positions within the Information Management Technical Specialist job classification: Digital Specialist, Radio Specialist, and Telephone Specialist. To be considered as a candidate for any of the positions, you must meet the minimum education and experience qualification requirements listed below.

NOTE: Degrees, Certificates, or Training must be job-related and experience must have been gained within past 6 years
Approved degrees or courses of study include the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronics Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
Technical Certificates or Specialized Training should directly relate to digital environments, land mobile radio, or Telephone PBX systems.
Product Certificates should be from the following industry-recognized products: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE); Cisco Certified Internet-working Expert (CCIE); Certified Novell Engineer (CNE); Certified Computing Professional; A+; Certified Lotus Professional (CLP): IDNX or GDC Multiplexers; Telephone Certificates from Mitel, Nortel, GTE or, AT&T; Land Mobile Radio or Satellite Certificates from Motorola, GE, Harris, Collins, Magnavox, McKay, or TWC.
